Equipping churches and communities to respond safely and wisely.
hope. healing. restoration.
For 25 years, Eagle's Wings has operated as a dedicated nonprofit focused on guiding women away from domestic abuse, harmful patterns and unsafe environments. We empower survivors through specialized workshops, support groups, and community events.
Our mission includes training organizations to identify and address domestic violence with wisdom and safety. We offer expert consultation and education to help leaders distinguish between typical marital struggles and cycles of abuse.

"How do you put into words what it feels like to be held, supported, and seen during one of the hardest seasons of your life? It's more than kindness — it's being met with compassion, truth, prayer, and unwavering support when you need it most.
Through Tawni and the community of women at Eagle's Wings, I found healing, hope, and strength. In moments where shame or fear could have taken over, I was met with grace and the love of Christ. Tawni prayed for me, checked on me, and connected me with trusted resources for my child and my legal journey — carrying me through when I felt overwhelmed.
Today I carry a deeper sense of honor, dignity, and worth than I've ever known. Tawni is a true friend and a beautiful example of what it means to walk alongside someone with courage and grace."

Our Community Feedback

"Tawni Carney was an incredible resource in helping train and equip the members of our Care Team in how the church can respond to domestic violence. She introduced practical tools like the Power and Control Wheel and the Equality Wheel, and she walked us through the nature of abusive relationships and the cycle of abuse. Just as valuable were her real-life examples of how church leaders have responded, both the healthy responses and the well-meaning ones that unintentionally caused harm. The honesty she led and taught with gave our team a clear picture of what wisdom actually looks like in these moments.
These have become vital tools for us. They have helped to ensure that the people under our care are given a voice and that our team can recognize the realities of coercive control, emotional abuse, and physical abuse when they come to light.
Tawni is a true champion in this work, and someone who makes the body of Christ better. Her holistic approach is exactly what the church needs to raise both awareness and take tangible action. Tawni’s training has helped shape the way we truly care for the body of Christ in our church."
